2020 has been incredibly difficult for many. A Lincoln mortgage originator is hoping to #SpreadCheer this season by donating $ 1,000, along with his colleagues, during each of the 25 Days of Christmas to families and local organizations in need, including Fresh Start in Lincoln.

Each of the Midwest Family Lending employees has selected an organization or family they want to support with a gift of $ 1,000 throughout the 25 Days of Christmas through a project they call “SpreadCheer”.

Jean Holman, mortgage originator at Midwest Family Lending, selected Lincoln’s Fresh Start. A friend introduced Holman to the charity and she was tricked into action after seeing the videos of what she does.

“I wanted to help struggling women in our community get back on their feet,” said Holman. “We all need a little help someday.”
